About

Lazer Happy is an art production studio and curatorial project founded by artist Adrian Tone in collaboration with Gerard Kilgallon. It aims to remove barriers that separate a cloistered art world from the public by creating highly refined works, fully realized marketing campaigns, and a continual commitment to collaboration and reinvention. With a constant willful eye towards contemporary pop culture and the zeitgeist, Lazer Happy invites its audience to relax and delight in the pleasure of artmaking.

Lazer Happy took part in RococoPop, a group exhibition organized by Dean Projects in collaboration with Crossing Art. The show explores ideas of lavishness, desire, excess and the movement’s contemporary relationships. The theme could not fit us any better and we came up with great installations at both venues (press release). Our installations and the show were mentioned in the ArtInfo article “The Armory Branches Out”.

Exhibition extended until April 12th at Dean Projects and April 18th at Crossing Art in Queens, New York.

  • Upcoming shows:
Exporting Pop: A Western Fantasy curated by Dean Projects at Al-Sabah Gallery, Kuwait City, Kuwait (May 7th - June 7th ‘09)
