About

Lazer Happy is an art production studio and curatorial project founded by artist Adrian Tone in collaboration with Gerard Kilgallon. It aims to remove barriers that separate a cloistered art world from the public by creating highly refined works, fully realized marketing campaigns, and a continual commitment to collaboration and reinvention. With a constant willful eye towards contemporary pop culture and the zeitgeist, Lazer Happy invites its audience to relax and delight in the pleasure of artmaking.

hey dude. I figured this would be an easy way to keep up to date to what we are doing in the website.
I managed to move the “Spring Break Show” in the past events section. and in the vault there is only the sketchbook, 05-06 pictures, and blueproject. the blue project one needs to get fixed up… nicer thumbnails, organized.etc.

nway. also i dont have an pics on me from the 04-05 season, so if uve got some put em up and publish that draft in the vault section. look at the 05-06 season thing for thumbnail size. those came out good i think.

oh also, when you make posts and stuff, i think it is a good idea to write our name down at the bottom of the post… since its not just me editing it anymore.

JUST ADDED: Spring Break ‘05!!

Back in the spring of 2005 Adrian and myself participated in ArtLedge’s Spring Break Show held at the west loop’s Butcher Shop. It was definatly a night to remember, but thanks to the liquer luge and the generous sponsership of Pabst Blue Ribbon, Lazerhappy’s collective memory of the event had been a little bit fuzzy….something about panty-shot preformance art, high-schoolers fist fighting in one of the galleries, and Art Institute painting professor John Phillips DJing James Brown, the mysterious aquasision of ‘the Deer Painting” for the Lazerhhappy Art Collection, and I think I got ‘ain’t nuthin but a G thang’ airbrushed on a hat. Needless to say it was a lot of excitement for one night, so please excuse the long wait.

Hello Lazerhappy.com fans! I am excited to anounce my first official contribution to the website. The Sketchbook Section will host a new drawing each day. While I have been an active member of the Lazerhappy team for a few years now, my duties have been limited to the real world while L4Z3R has been manning the homepage. Enjoy! (pics to come as soon as lazer grats me proper access).

and here we have it…
