About

Lazer Happy is an art production studio and curatorial project founded by artist Adrian Tone in collaboration with Gerard Kilgallon. It aims to remove barriers that separate a cloistered art world from the public by creating highly refined works, fully realized marketing campaigns, and a continual commitment to collaboration and reinvention. With a constant willful eye towards contemporary pop culture and the zeitgeist, Lazer Happy invites its audience to relax and delight in the pleasure of artmaking.

almost moved
— LaZer @ Jul 8, 2006 @ 6:15 pm

Come check out some of my new work at this years Around The Coyote Festival. I managed to get a wall space… and my new paintings are looking better than ever.

The original show at NewSpace Chicago got canceled. there is a soft deadline for a different solo show of mine sometime in October. more on that later.

I still need to revamp the website and figure out how to take the LazerHappy project further. We are at quite a funny turning point. everything is up in the air… and well…. I need to rething everything that I have been doing for the past two years, and figure out a way to regroup.

dont expect any regular updates for at least another month or so.

keep in touch!

LazerHappy Update:
— LaZer @ Jul 2, 2006 @ 11:30 am

Hello! We regret to inform you that LazerHappy Studios will be moving out of its current 1153 W. Grand location…. this time for real

I will be relocating to Pilsen at the OAO space, a small friendly Pilsen gallery. I hope some good collaborations will come out of it. They think they closed their space down…. but we’ll see if I can change that.

I also might have a solo exhibition coming up at New Space Chicago. Details have still to be worked out though.

Keep your fingers crossed for me getting the awseome job of performance program coordinator at the mca. Its either that or designing a new hip-hop clothing line for shorty capone…

We are also planning a goodbye Blue installation. If you liked our sculptures you can go in front of the MCA starting on July 11th (tuesday) and pick some up for yourselves. screws, chairs, ladders, and all the good stuff.
