About

Lazer Happy is an art production studio and curatorial project founded by artist Adrian Tone in collaboration with Gerard Kilgallon. It aims to remove barriers that separate a cloistered art world from the public by creating highly refined works, fully realized marketing campaigns, and a continual commitment to collaboration and reinvention. With a constant willful eye towards contemporary pop culture and the zeitgeist, Lazer Happy invites its audience to relax and delight in the pleasure of artmaking.

“Works From The Collection”
— LaZer @ Oct 18, 2005 @ 1:43 pm

“Works From The Collection”

opening: October 21st 6-10pm
1153 W. Grand Avenue, Chicago

This upcoming show will be weird, offbeat, and interesting. In this event we will feature selected art works from LazerHappy’s permanent collection, as well as a live noise music performance by David Ross.

During the last year of LazerHappy’s existence (happy b-day to us!!) we have managed to accumulate a small collection of art through some rather odd occurances. This collection includes a small number of paintings, sculptures, toys, and other things that we deemed worhty to be looked at. Best of all however is that they each come with a short story about how we came to own each piece. These stories, for the most part, are quite interesting and comical.
