About

Lazer Happy is an art production studio and curatorial project founded by artist Adrian Tone in collaboration with Gerard Kilgallon. It aims to remove barriers that separate a cloistered art world from the public by creating highly refined works, fully realized marketing campaigns, and a continual commitment to collaboration and reinvention. With a constant willful eye towards contemporary pop culture and the zeitgeist, Lazer Happy invites its audience to relax and delight in the pleasure of artmaking.

The “Spring Break” art show was quite fun and exciting. Organized by Art Ledge @ the ButcherShop (1319 W.Lake) the opening/ party was awseome. With 1500 free beers provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon and music by our own SAIC professor John Philips few things could go wrong. Besides a small altercation the night was fun and everybody had a great time. Just in case you missed this opening there will be another opening this saturday (April 30th). I will post more details on that and hopefully a modest review of the show as soon as I find some time.

I also wrote my first show review ever on Max Shubert’s installation @ Elliot Layda’s gallery. You can check that out in the Vault section.

mmm… monster.
